The Advanced Threat Containment Unit, also known by it's acronym A.T.C.U., is a new United States Government organization operating out of Endotex Labs after being created by president Matthew Ellis to deal with the emergence of new Inhumans following the accidental release of the Terrigen Mist at the bottom of the ocean through Fish Oil. However, since it's foundation, the ATCU was manipulated by Gideon Malick's HYDRA cell to do HYDRA's bidding.
