The Gifted[]

"eXposed"[]

At his High School, Andy Strucker waited in the hallway as his parents sat in the principal's office, demanding that the school take action to prevent their son, Andy from future bullying incidents, as it was affecting his academic performance as well as communication between him and his parents. Once home, he sat at the dinner table with his mother, Caitlin, and his sister. His father couldn't make it to dinner because he was called in to interview a suspect at the Garland Detention Center.

Caitlin asked Andy how his day was at school, to which he talked about a debate they had in social studies class about the law they wanted to enforce to test people with the X-gene and monitor them. He mentioned someone in the class who freaked out, Andy's guess was that his cousin was a "mutie". Lauren mentioned how racist that sounded, as "mutie" is a derogatory term for referring to mutants. They got into an argument before their mother stopped it. Andy later sneaked out of the house, telling his mother he was going to bed, and attended a high school dance with his sister. At the dance, Lauren and Andy separated and Andy was cornered and dragged to the locker room by his bullies. They proceeded to mock Andy for telling his parents about them and spray him with hot water from the locker room faucets. In this moment of panic, anger and danger Andy's X-Gene awakened with incredibly destructive results. Unleashing his mutant ability, Andy began to shake the entire school and slam his tormentors into the locker room walls without touching them. Unable to control his emotions and powers, the continued destruction nearly tore down the school gym until Lauren rushed into the locker room and calmed Andy enough to stop his enraged fit. Lauren and Andy quickly exited the school and ran home.

Once home, Andy and Lauren told their mother what happened. In disbelief, their mother asked how this could happen. Lauren quickly came to Andy's defense saying this was beyond Andy's control as the X-Gene was triggered in moments of stress or danger and she knew this because she herself is a mutant, and had been hiding her abilities for three years now. She first manifested her powers when she saved the family from a near-fatal car accident. Caitlin assured her children that her and their father were not against mutants right before Sentinel Services knocked on the door.

Agent Jace Turner and Agent Weeks of the Sentinel Services were on the other side of the door, as Agent Turner explained that he was there to take Andy and Lauren into custody, recalling the recent news story of two mutants who committed an act of "terrorism" at the local high school, leaving the gymnasium destroyed. After Caitlin refused to let them in, they forced their way in, knocking Caitlin down. Andy began to shake the house as he angrily told the agents to leave their home.

Agent Turner tried to calm him down, but when the shaking escalated, they pulled out their guns, ready to forcefully take them away. Lauren created force fields, trapping the agents, giving the Struckers enough time to run to their family van. As they attempted to flee with the van, the agents surrounded them. Andy tried to use his powers but couldn't control them. Lauren created a force field between the van and the agents and the family escaped.

Later, when their father Reed Strucker met up with them at a diner, he told the family that sentinel services was a federal agency with little oversight that had "disappeared" mutant suspects in the past and he would not allow that to happen to his children. At the , Andy and Lauren discussed their powers and Andy's frustration with his inability to control them. Lauren told Andy that with time he will learn to control them and demonstrated her ability by knocking popcorn loose from a vending machine and encouraging Andy to do the same. When he attempted this, initially having some control, his power escalated when his emotions from the incident at the dance took over, resulting in the machine being destroyed

Meeting with Eclispe from the Mutant Underground at an abandoned warehouse facility, the Struckers prepared to flee to Mexico, where Eclipse explained he knew people down by the border with a specific set of skills, that'd allow them to get people under, over, or even through the wall. Once that was done, they'd get them new IDs. However, their plan to escape never initiated, as they were surrounded by Sentinel Services. Luckily, Thunderbird and Blink came to their rescue and the family fled through a warehouse, as Sentinel Services unleashed their mutant-hunting robots, the Sentinels.

The group was cornered, so Blink was instructed to create a portal to the Mutant Underground HQ which she would not be able to keep open for long. The group made it through, except Andy and Reed. Reed was waiting for Andy, who was finally able to focus his powers and tear apart the sentinels. After he'd torn them apart, Andy joined the rest on the other side. Ready to follow after Andy, Reed made a move to go through the portal, but never made it through, as he was shot the back, and Blink unable to hold the portal open for much longer, had to close it. Reed was left for capture on the other side.

"rX"[]

Andy and along with his mother and sister are in a panic about Reed, and urge a weakened Blink to go back for him. Thunderbird however says that returning would be a bad idea and he and Eclipse are more concerned with Blink's health at the moment, as she is exhausted and continues to pass out.

As Blink is going into shock, which affects her abilities she begins opening portals. One opens to a road and a truck careens into it and is sliced in half as the portal closes and the back end flies into the bank hideout. Nearly killing Caitlin.

Moving Blink to a table she has another attack and opens a portal to the same road. A man pulls a shotgun and points it through the portal however Lauren uses her powers to collapse the portal. They quickly then come up with a plan to take Caitlin to retrieve the medicine to help Blink and to leave Lauren behind to close any more portals that open up.

While they wait, Thunderbird tells Lauren and Andy about Blink and how she was forced to use her powers to steal food because she could not pass for human and as a result could not get a job. Blink suddenly has another attack and the portal to the road opens again, this time with an entire team of police looking through. Lauren is able to close the portal, but it takes significantly longer as Thunderbird listens to the police using his heightened senses.

As Blink is getting worse, she once again opens another portal. Lauren tries to close it like before but is unable too. A SWAT team officer walks through the portal, but Thunderbird uses his mutant strength to take him out and toss him back through the portal. Andy then also uses his power to knock down all the SWAT team members but still not able to control his powers also knocks over the other mutants including the table Blink was on. Blink hits her head and goes near unconscious and as a result several portals open at the same time causing utter chaos through the HQ. Caitlin and Eclipse however return in time and Caitlin is able to administer the medicine which finally allows Blink to close all the portals and keeping the Underground safe from detection.

Later Caitlin assures Andy and Lauren that they will bring their father home.

"eXodus"[]

Andy and Lauren were keeping themselves entertained by playing monopoly but soon got into an argument as Lauren did not want Andy to take the shoe piece; the piece their father always chose. Later at night Caitlin woke Andy and Lauren to tell them that she's going to their Uncle Danny's house. The kids however insisted on going with her to protect her if something happened.

While walking, Lauren pointed out to Caitlin that they were eventually going to get recognized and spotted if they continued walking on foot. However, Caitlin pointed out she had no money as to procure them a ride and that their accounts were probably frozen as well. Andy then suggested he use his powers to rob a bank claiming that they should not have to hold back if humans weren't willing to much to Lauren and Caitlin's protest. Andy then used his powers to destroy parking meters allowing them to collect enough money to get a cab.

Arriving at the Danny's house, the trio were greeted warmly by Danny. While the kids talked about their adventures with Danny's son and their cousin, Scott Caitlin asked for assistance with tracking down Reed which Daniel refused to give not wanting to put his own family at risk.

Andy played video games with Scott While Lauren used a tablet. However Scott was more interested in seeing Andy's powers. As Lauren was startled to see that some kids had vandalized their old house with anti-mutant graffiti Andy got upset upon realizing the one in the photo was an old friend of his causing Andy to get angry and his powers flare up for a moment, damaging one of Scott's trophies.

The next day, Andy, Lauren, and Caitlin are located by John and Marcos. However before they can leave an angry, armed mob formed outside of Danny's home due to Scott having texted a picture of the trophy Andy damaged with his powers to a friend and the word spread. They all argued about how to handle the situation until Danny decided to go outside by himself.

Danny argued with the ringleader and tried to convince them to disperse, but the mob was determined to search the house attacking Danny in the process. Andy in a rage blew off the door with his powers demanding in anger that they leave them all alone. The ringleader, Chuck, picked up his gun to shoot Andy but Thunderbird pulled Andy back while Eclipse heated up the gun disabling Chuck. They then all moved towards their SUV and drove off, but the mob jumped in their vehicles and pursued.

As the mob opened fire on the SUV, John called ahead to the hideout to let Dreamer and Sage know what was happening and to prepare to help somehow. Fortunately Blink was able to open a portal large enough for them to drive through and escape without leading the mob back to Headquarters.

eXit strategy[]

Andy sat alongside his sister and mother as the Mutant Underground discussed a plan to save Lorna and his father. They were being held in a cell at the Sentinel Services regional Headquarters and were soon to be relocated to an ultra secure facility, which the Underground didn’t have much insight on beyond the fact that the people who go there, did not come back, thus forcing their hand in attacking the Sentinel Services transport head on. However, Many were reluctant in volunteering to help, Sage included as they had lost 6 people the last time they went up against Sentinel Services directly and this time around it was a prison they were attempting to infiltrate, whose systems had been improved.

Extrapolating from other attacks, Sage concluded the Underground had an 86.5% chance of failure. Marcos however pointed out that if they did nothing, then there's was a 100% chance of never seeing Reed or Lorna again. Caitlin pleaded with the Underground for help and Marcos reminded them how Lorna has risked her life for everyone in the room. With that, he asked for a show of hands from those willing to save Lorna. Unfortunately, Sonya, Clarice, and Harry were the only ones willing to help. Afterward, Andy's concern for his father then grew.

However, Lauren was convinced that they would find a way to save their father, as was Caitlin, who told Andy that they could not afford to think negative telling them that sometimes when taking risks, you had to hope for the best.

The next day, after Lauren learned that there was a convoy of military vehicles taking her father and Lorna to a military airport and was able to overhear the teams plan on intercepting the convoy in a warehouse district by stopping the transport bus, she went to Andy who was listening to music as they had too work together in finding a way to stop the bus without arousing suspicion. Lauren asked if he could destroy a truck wheel like he did the parking meter. However, Andy clarifies that his original intent on was to only destroy one with the other several having been an accident.

Andy told his sister that he lacked precise control over his abilities, meaning he would be risking tearing the entire truck apart with their father in it. With this Lauren suggested that they use her abilities to focus Andy's telling him to focus on a nearby lamppost. As he started to tear it apart, Lauren used her shields to focus his destructive telekinetic fields, thus resulting in a more precise attack, causing the light to burst.

Andy and Lauren later demonstrated their new found ability on the tire of an old and abandoned cab for their mother and John. John was impressed and he asked if they were capable of doing it from a longer range. Which they were. Giving them the added advantage that no one would see where it came from. However, Caitlin was against using her children as child soldiers to attack a convoy.

Lauren pleaded with their mother reminding her that it was she who told them sometimes they had to take risks and that they wanted and were ready to fight, no matter what, even if it meant facing trained men with guns and as it was Caitlin who had always told them that there were things worth fighting for questioned if what her mother said was all just talk. Their mother while she is still hesitant, agreed to allow them to stop the transport bus, but only if John could guarantee her that Andy and Lauren would not be in harms way.

Thus the next day, on one of the rooftops of the warehouse district, Andy, Lauren and Caitlin got into position while awaiting the convoy's arrival. When Andy mentioned how strangely quiet it was, Lauren remembered that it was Sunday, which was the same day of the football team's fundraiser breakfast, which she was supposed to make corn muffins for. At that moment the convoy arrived and Andy and Lauren prepared to combine powers to disengage the transport bus, however, Andy failed to come through on his end.

Figuring motivating him through anger would work, so Lauren blamed Andy for ruining their lives, antagonizing him even further by claiming the bullies who tormented him were right about him and challenged Andy to prove them wrong. Allowing his rage to fuel his power, Andy and Lauren were able to attack the tire of the transport bus and successfully bring it to an abrupt stop. Lauren apologized for insulting him, adding that he was better when he is angry. Having fulfilled their end of the mission, Andy, Lauren and Caitlin prepared to leave the area.

However, they then heard gunshots firing all around the warehouse district as they headed back towards their SUV. However, upon approaching the vehicle, they discovered a Sentinel Services agent examining the SUV. Caitlin approached the agent from behind and injected him with an unknown substance that immediately rendered him unconscious. Handing Lauren the keys, Caitlin told her and Andy to take the car and go without her. With their mother revealing that she was going after their father alone, because she did not want to risk losing the two of them as well. While protestant Andy and Lauren got in the car and parted ways with their mother after sharing a hug. They then head back to Headquarters.

"boXed in"[]

Andy and Lauren reunited with their father back at the HQ and happily greeted their father with a hug. Upon their parents' return, they were informed that Sentinel Services shot Harry during the convoy attack and that many people were in bad condition after Sentinel Services raided every place suspected of being mutant sympathizers. As they headed down the stairs, their father was attacked by Fade, who angrily accused him of working with Sentinel Services to set up the Underground for an attack. Fortunately, John intervened and instructed everyone to calm down. Andy and his sister were the first to admit that while their father used to prosecute mutants, he later stood up to Sentinel Services when he found out about them being mutants. However, Andy and Lauren were unaware that their father had indeed wore a tracker into Fade's bar. Reed then stepped forward and apologized for his actions, reasoning that he did what he had to do in order to get back to his family.

Andy and Lauren followed their mother into the vault to help treat Harry for his gunshot wounds. Their mother took a look at his wounds before instructing Clarice to get her clean gauze and painkillers. Dilaudid, fentanyl, even codeine. Despite Caitlin's efforts, the Struckers noticed they were starting to draw a lot of attention. Andy himself noted that from the way they were now being looked at by the others that it was maybe time for them to leave the station. However rather than running, Lauren suggested gaining the Underground's trust. Their mother then called them over to assist with aiding Harry.

As Lauren applied pressure to Harry's wounds, they discovered that they were running out of supplies, Saline to be exact, which left Andy wondering if Harry is going to survive. At the moment what they truly needed to possibly save Harry's life was actual blood so Andy offers to donate his blood given that he he is 0-negative, and therefore a universal donor. Caitlin then began the transfusion.

While their Caitlin was far from being a surgeon, she had no other choice but to perform the operation. Caitlin told Lauren to keep pressure on the entry wound while she made a midline incision to remove the bullet, which had been lodged fairly deep inside Harry. Andy continued to help where he could by offering blood. Caitlin, equipped with a scalpel, sliced Harry's stomach open wide. After removing the bullet, Harry began to bleed profusely as a result of hemorrhaging, meaning that an artery must have been cut. Unfortunately, Caitlin had nothing capable of stopping the bleeding without a cross-clamp.

Fortunately, Lauren suspected that she may be able to stop the bleeding with one of her shields so she asked her mother to show her where the nicked artery was located. After getting the shield in place, Caitlin sewed Harry up while Lauren continued to apply pressure via her shield. Thankfully, it seemed as if all their efforts had paid off, as Harry would survive. In the process of saving him, they had also earned the trust of the refugees who quietly observed from afar.

That night, just as Andy prepared for dinner with Lauren and their mother, their father returned from his mission with Fade to redirect the police search from the station. All four of them sat around the table, enjoying their first meal together as a family in quite some time. Andy then asked what was next for them, and they were still headed for Mexico since that was the initial plan. However, Reed pointed out they wouldn’t be leaving the station anytime soon given that it was still unsafe to travel due to the heavy police presence. Reed had also been talking to some of the people around the station who had questions about Sentinel Services, which he could help them with due to his knowledge as a lawyer. So, for the time being, they would remain at the Underground, especially considering that they could use all the help they could get.

"got your siX"[]

While passing out supplies to new refugees Andy and Lauren comment on how many more refugees have arrived a the hideout since they showed up.

Later Andy was present as John organized a team of mutants and explained that they were now taking the fight to the those who have been hunting them. Reed told them what he knows, which unfortunately was not much and without Blink, they needed another way inside the federal building at Baton Rouge. Andy volunteered and Reed decided to go with him in hopes to bond more with his son.

While on the road, Reed tried to talk to Andy about what's happened recently. Andy revealed to him that the whole reason the bullies came after him that night was because of Reed and Caitlin going to speak to the principal. They were interrupted however when the truck where they all were hiding was pulled over by police. Eclipse was able to hide them by absorbing all of the light in the truck. The officer looked inside and fortunately didn’t see anything.

The group then decided to stay off the road for the night since there was a heavy police presence on the roads. In the meanwhile Reed attempted to ask Andy about his powers and how they affected him. Asking Andy if his powers hurt him in any way. Andy explained it did not and the feeling of using his powers were more akin to yelling. However when Andy revealed that his powers felt good whenever he used them to tear things apart, Reed started arguing with his son about using good judgment. Andy then left the conversation clearly frustrated with his father.

Finally arriving at the federal building Marcos, Reed, and Andy entered a garage that shared a wall with the federal building. Andy used his powers to create an opening in the wall, but it set off several car alarms. Andy tried to enter, but Reed insisted he stick to the plan and return to the truck.

As Reed and Marcos retrieve the information, they need all three proceed to ride back to HQ but are followed by a cop. Andy insist on helping but when Reed insist on him not doing anything Andy proceeded to get angry and began shaking the truck. Reed calmed him down saying he already helped them humongously, but said now they needed to act like a team and let Polaris and her group do their part to help them now.

With the help of Polaris, Lauren, and Wes. Reed, Marcos, and Andy are able to escape to safety. Later that night Reed sat down to talk to Andy and told him that he's always been proud of him and that he wants to hear anything Andy has to say.

"eXtreme measures"[]

Andy interrupts Lauren and Wes' near kiss out on the roof scaffolding to inform her that it's time for lunch. Andy and Lauren make their way downstairs, joining their mother for lunch. Although, she is curious as to what took them so long. Andy says that he couldn't find Lauren, so he looked on the roof, which again, is off limits, but he then covers for Lauren by saying that he didn't find her there either. When she asks where was she, Lauren lies and says that she was downstairs in the supply room, where she had lost track of time. Caitlin then reminds them about the homework she had assigned and how she wanted them turned in tomorrow. Neither Andy nor Lauren took her serious when she initially assigned it. Unfortunately, this is the deal they had made with their mother. If they wanted to train, they'd have to study as well.

In a demolished wing of the station, Lorna trains Andy, Naya and Skyler. She hurls bricks at them, instructing them with the appropriate action as she does so. Reed interrupts to speak with Andy. Andy is asked about Lauren, who was also supposed to be at the training session though Andy claims to have no knowledge of her whereabouts. But he quickly caves and reveals that she is with Wes. Lorna commends Andy, Naya and Skyler on their respective performances as training ends. But she tells Andy not to do any structural damage. "No promises", he replies.

Later that night, the Struckers' dinner is interrupted by Wes. He's come to let them know that he spoke to Sage and the others and told them about his criminal history. It was all behind him and he intends to be a better person moving forward. So they allowed him to stay. He then apologizes for lying and thanks Reed for the talk. Unfortunately, Wes has no plans on staying. There is a group going to the Augustus station tomorrow and they asked him to join them.

"threat of eXtinction"[]

Andy, Lauren and their mother learn from their father that Sentinel Services has been working with a defense contractor called Trask Industries, which is the same company that his father (Andy and Lauren's grandfather) used to work. Andy and Lauren had always been told that their grandfather ran out on their father and grandmother years ago, but that isn't entirely true. He actually lives out in Chattanooga, which is only two hours away, yet Andy and Lauren have never even met him, which their mother explains was intentional because their grandfather wasn't good to their father when raising him.

Andy and Lauren's grandfather was a difficult man that was always working and never close with his family. When their father was a child, he got sick and almost died, yet their grandfather didn't even bother coming to visit him at the hospital. Reed and Otto haven't spoken since before Andy and Lauren were born, but that will have to change if they desire to know more about Trask Industries and their affiliation with Sentinel Services.Andy steps in to assist with putting on a refugee's sling after Lauren helped their mother pop back in the arm of one of the newest mutant refugees at the station. He was injured during a fight between one of Trask' Hounds (later to be identified as Chloe Tan) and Thunderbird, Eclipse and Blink, following the attack on the station in Perry.

Upon further examination of the apprehended Hound, who they have locked in the cell, they begin to suspect that she is suffering from drug withdrawals given that she has all the symptoms. Marcos asks if they've ever seen a mutant on Kick, which is a power enhancing mutant drug that is highly addictive and makes the user feel invincible. However, the effects are only temporary. If that is the case, then Caitlin believes they can treat Chloe, which only frustrates Lorna, who thinks treating her will only allow the prisoner to get stronger and provide her with the opportunity to kill them. However, Marcos believes that treatment may lead to their questions getting answered.

As they argue, Caitlin reminds them that them that they're fighting for a word where people can live together.Andy and Lauren volunteer to restrain the prisoner in order for their mother to be able to properly treat her, which will hopefully result in them getting answers from her. Andy will push her back towards the bars while Lauren holds her back with a shield long enough for their mother to inject with her the "sleep juice". However, Caitlin is merely guessing on the dosage in which she would inject into the prisoner. So if something goes wrong, she will look for Marcos and Lorna to step in, who are on standby.

Just as planned, Andy pushes the prisoner back against the rails, which allows Lauren to hold her still with a shield while their mother comes up from behind to inject her with an unknown substance that renders her unconscious almost immediately. After removing her from the cell and locking her down onto the table, Andy, Lauren, Lorna and Marcos watch as Caitlin inject Chloe with medication to help with her withdrawals, though it won't matter given that Chloe is dying from the massive amounts of drugs that Sentinel Services has given her.

While their mother treats Chloe, Lauren is approached by one of the new refugees, a larger man, who is quite intimidating in size. He is upset that they have taken the prisoner out of the cell despite what she is capable of. While Lauren understands his frustration, she asks that he stay back because they need to figure out who she is and where she came from. In doing that, they'd be keeping everyone safe, but the man doesn't seem to care much for what she has to say, forcing Andy to step in. He warns the larger man to back off, making the station shake as he does so, which works as an effective form of intimidation. The larger man's attitude quickly downsizes and he backs off.

Lauren thanks Andy for coming to her aid. He tells her that she is his sister and that only he can talk to her like that.Despite his mother's best efforts, Chloe dies from her withdrawals later that evening, just as they suspected she would. Although, they did discover that Sentinel Services killed her husband and took her daughter, and that she was connected to Trask Industries, which they now know is North of the station thanks to Esme, another new refugee. Andy later greets his father as he returns from Chattanooga with devastating news. He enters the room, visibly upset. From him, they learns that his father was murdered during an attack by Sentinel Services. Hearing this, Andy and Lauren hold hands while their mother comforts their father.

"outfoX"[]

At night, whilst everyone slept, Andy and Lauren lie awake with the startling revelation of their grandfather being a mutant. However, Andy had come to learn that it wasn't just their grandfather who was a mutant in their family. He found a book in the station's library that covered a portion of their family, more specially Andre and Andreas Von Strucker. During the 1950s, they were known as Fenris. They supposedly wiped out an entire building full of people within seconds by holding hands and combining powers. They were also rumored to be part of a shadowy international organization known as the Hellfire Club. They disappeared fleeing from the X-Men.

However, they were some of the most powerful mutants ever. Lauren is applauded at her family's history and decides to cut their history lesson short. After explaining the news to Andy and Lauren that they might share the same ability as their ancestors to combine powers, their parents suggests that they test to see if they did in fact inherit the Fenris Force. They learned the hard way that discovering mutant abilities by accident isn't ideal so they decided to test it in a controlled environment. Andy, Lauren, Reed and Caitlin head to the vault, where Andy and Lauren conjoin hands.

When nothing happens, Andy asks Lauren to try again. They join hands once more and this time they begin to glow. The two begin to light up as their hair blows upward in a dramatic fashion. They proceed to build up their energy until Reed forcefully pulls their hands apart. Andy and Lauren explain that it was like they could feel everything around them and could've torn the entire building down with everyone in it. Reed and Caitlin are frightened.Andy and Lauren explain that when they combined their powers, everything around them more so disappeared. They weren't two people anyone, but a conjoined force, almost as if they were seeing out of the same eyes. Their father recalls them saying that they could've destroyed the building. He questions how they knew that. Lauren replies that she could feel it. Andy pushes things apart while she does the opposite by pulling them together.

Combined, it was like they could do anything. They were looking at the wall in front of them and they could've vaporized it. Andy wants to practice to hone this newly discovered ability, but Lauren agrees with their parents in it being too dangerous. Andy storms off when Reed points out that he can barely control his own powers let alone his and Lauren's. So Lauren chases after him.Lauren calls out to Andy to explain that their parents only want to protect him. But Andy sees it as everyone else viewing him as a freak because he doesn't hate his powers. Lauren corrects him when she reveals that she doesn't hate her powers either, in fact, she never felt more powerful than when they joined abilities. It scared her because it felt good. They both recall the first time it happened at the park a year ago, which was before Andy even knew he was a mutant.

He started messing up in school around this point because he couldn't get that out of his mind. All Andy wants to do is try combining their power again, which forces him to question if this means they're going to turn out like the von Struckers. The Underground hatches a plan to take down Trask Industries. So they call down the Struckers to ask if Andy and Lauren can assist in disengaging the substation transformers, similar to how they stopped the prison convoy. They feel as if they have no other choice as everyone else with combat powers will be assaulting the lab. Hopefully, they can take down the power substation without putting Andy and Lauren in danger. Sage hacked the security cameras and the station only has a handful of guards. Clarice will portal everyone in, and from there, Sonya will guide them. They'd been through every option.

Unfortunately, the plan with Andy and Lauren is the only one that can work. Having said that, both Andy and Lauren are willing to help in whatever way they can. Reed and Caitlin agree to allow the kids to take out the transformers, but only if they can monitor security. With a plan set in motion, they'll be moving out within the hour.Andy, Lauren, Reed, Caitlin, Dreamer and Blink later arrive at the substation. Reed and Caitlin stay inside the surveillance van to monitor the cameras while Blink portals everyone else inside the substation. Dreamer, Blink, Lauren, and Andy progress forward into the power station. After waiting for a couple employees to pass, Dreamer guides the team throughout the building.

However, the memory is a bit hazy because the guard she borrowed it from had only been there a couple times. When Andy wonders why Blink didn't just portal them to the middle of the building where the transformer are, she replies by asking if he can make a portal through a hundred walls into a room they've never seen before and land safely next to a high-voltage transformer. After the team passes the conference room, Reed warns them of an incoming guard. Dreamer slowly approaches the guard with a friendly demeanor; until getting close enough where she can blow smoke into his face, resulting in the guard dispatching of his gun and radio before walking pass them. The alarm begins to sound as Dreamer, Blink, Lauren and Andy proceed throughout the building. To make matters worse, a Sentinel robot and armed team is quickly approaching.

So the team begins looking for an exit as it is time to abort the mission. Unfortunately, Blink is unfamiliar with the building's structure. So she can't portal them out. As the Sentinel turns the corner, Andy attempts to rip it apart, but to no avail. The four of them start to run in the opposite direction. However, they don't make it far. Blink is the first to be apprehended, as the Sentinel jumps onto her back and pins her to the ground. With Sentinel Services seconds behind them, Dreamer, Andy and Lauren make their way to the basement of the building. Dreamer unlocks the basement door for Andy and Lauren to pass through.

However, Dreamer shut the door behind them, sacrificing herself to provide them a chance to escape. The two Strucker siblings enter a vacant lot panicked and scared, realizing there is no way out. Lauren convinces Andy to combine their powers to get out as they did before. She wants to take the building down. Andy agrees and they conjoin hands. However, Andy comes to a realization and pulls away from Lauren. Andy explains that they're in the basement of the building. If they use their conjoined power, the whole building will come down, killing everyone inside, leaving them with no other option but to surrender as Agent Turner, Agent Weeks and their team enter the lot with their weapons drawn. Agent Turner tells them it's over as they get on their knees and ability suppressing collars are placed around their neck.

Character traits[]

Prior to Andy discovering that was a mutant, he had normal teenage interests such as a love of playing video games with his cousin and doing youthful activities; such as skateboarding. Andy was bullied in school and became withdrawn and sullen, although he exhibited a sarcastic sense of humor and dry wit.

Andy is quiet, sensitive and compared to his older sister, Lauren, he is a bit of a loner and outcast, but he does seem to have a good if bickering relationship with his sister but was not very close his father, Reed, before the start of him getting bullied. Andy had a lot of pent up anger which usually causes him to lash out with his powers. His experience at the hands of bullies had caused Andy's grades in school to suffer, gave him a lot of anxiety and seemingly caused him to be depressed and unwilling to accept help from his family.

Andy has displayed himself to be a talented artist, also keen, perceptive and intelligent, despite his frequent fiery temper, he has adapted to his fugitive status quicker than most of his family and when he and Lauren had their first opportunity to use Fenris when being pursued, Andy was the only one between him and his sister to realize that they would have killed far more innocent individuals if they went through with it, as they were in the basement of the power station, which would have caused more deaths on the surface. Andy, hearing about the propaganda against mutants, has obsessively read books on his ancestors, Andreas and Andrea von Strucker, and convinced himself that they had been vilified by non-mutant historians.

After becoming a fugitive of Sentinel Services, Andy started displaying a great degree of levity with how to handle situations as well as a fiery and heated temper when they run into humans that don't hide their hate of mutants, he has stated that it feels good when he uses his power to rip stuff apart and will use his power to intimidate anyone who gets on his bad side. Unlike his mother, Caitlin, and Lauren at first, Andy has accepted the fact that his life can never return back to the way it was, as any chance of him having a normal life was destroyed from the moment that he was outed as a mutant.

After Andy's time at Trask Industries and witnessing the death of Sonya Simonson, he started going down a dark path and having darker thoughts in using his powers against those that wish to harm his family and friends. It also made him prone to take harder and more aggressive action against the Sentinel Services and anti-mutant supporters. Ultimately, Andy's desire to live free led him to join the Hellfire Club as he felt that the Mutant Underground wouldn't do what was needed to stop those that wanted to destroy them.

Unlike Lauren and Reed, Andy admired his great-grandfather, Andreas von Strucker and his great-grandaunt, Andrea, seeing them as freedom fighters, as their legacy partially inspired his decision to join the Hellfire Club and continue their work. But his opinion changed after he had discovered the Hellfire Club's true colours.

Andy does not hate all humans in general, even being quick to remind his girlfriend, Rebecca Hoover that his mother, Caitlin is a human when she ranted against their kind.

After being with the Hellfire Club for six months, Andy became a firm believer in the cause of mutant liberation and his enthusiasm was manipulated by the Frost sisters and Reeva Payge, for example, he stood idly by and allowed Reeva to use sonic scream on his friend, Marcos Diaz. Despite his reluctance to meet with Marcos, Reeva convinced Andy to stand by her side as she wanted to strengthen his resolve in the face of former friends.

Andy became more willing to use his powers against his family, albeit reluctantly, as demonstrated at Lynwood Hospital when he attacked Lauren and gave her a concussion.

After accidentally killing Rebecca, Andy became more cruel and ruthless, Rebecca's psychotic behavior was blamed on the authorities by his peers in the Hellfire Club, which made Andy more determined than ever to fight for mutant-kind, but in truth, Rebecca was already a psychopath to begin with, prior to her being incarcerated at Lynwood Hospital.

Andy grew to hate the human authorities, such as Sentinel Services and anti-mutant hate groups like the Purifiers, to the point that he would inflict severe physical harm on them, such as was the case when a particularly ruthless Purifier named Kyle shot at Lauren and led to Andy breaking both his legs in a fit of rage before Lauren stopped him.

However, after Andy's friend, Lorna Dane had informed him that they had been deceived by Reeva the entire time, as her goal was not actually to get mutant civil rights back, but to divide both humans and mutants alike, Andy felt tremendous guilt, shame and remorse for joining the Hellfire Club in the first place, as well as for the actions that he had committed for them and for betraying his family, friends and the Mutant Underground.

Andy turned against the Hellfire Club after realising that Reeva, Sophie Frost, Phoebe Frost and several of its members were no different from the very humans who abused and oppressed mutants. He rejoined the Mutant Underground out of guilt, shame and remorse for the actions that he had committed for the Hellfire Club, in hopes of redeeming himself.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Mutant Physiology: Andy is an extremely powerful mutant who possesses telekinetic powers.
    • Telekinesis: Andy can telekinetically move objects or other individuals, without physically touching them, for example, when his powers first manifested, he unintentionally send a huge shockwave throughout his entire high school that almost brought down the entire building, he can even tear apart Sentinel robots relatively easily, something that most other mutants have difficulty doing. Andy's telekinesis can manipulate atoms locked inside of solid state matter, which is what causes tremors and shock waves through his surroundings.
      • Emotional State: The more Andy gives into his emotions, the stronger his telekinetic powers become.
    • Mental Link: Due to both Andy and Lauren sharing two copies of the X-gene, this comes with the added power of mutual telepathy in the form of shared dreams and the power to feel each other's pain when either one of them gets hurt.
      • Fenris Force: A powerful force of incredible strength. When Andy hold hands with his sister, Lauren, they are capable of producing and incredibly strong and destructive blast of light. According to Lauren and Andy themselves; they become a single collective entity, they feel everything around them, especially when inside buildings. They combine Andy's telekinesis and Lauren's force fields and produce a force they describe as being able "to do anything they want", whatever they feel, they can destroy. When the siblings join hands, Lauren's shielding power creates a chamber for Andy to dump in ever more energy from his power to harness raw hydrogen; which causes the build-up to reach critical mass before it is unleashed on to the surrounding environment.

Weaknesses[]

  • Emotional State: If Andy becomes too angry or scared, he will temporarily lose control of his powers; as he could unintentionally hurt or kill someone. But his training with the Hellfire Club has seen him make enormous strides in controlling his powers and even being able to scale back the extent of it's destructive effects; as seen when he destroyed a mobile phone while leaving everything around it untouched.
  • Limitations: Andy's powers were initially at an impasse against Lauren's, because her powers push molecules together and his pulling them apart (at equal force) they canceled each other out, as seen in "eXtraction". When this previously occurred, a blast of energy was released, strong enough to launch both Andy and Lauren back several feet, because it was equal force, but as seen in "afterMath", Andy's powers was far greater than Lauren's as the time, because he has been training with the Hellfire Club, her power had almost no affect on him and he was easily able to overpower her, breaking right through her shield, thrusting her backwards and knocking her unconscious, and having virtually no affect on himself. However, Lauren's powers have recently begun developing at an accelerated rate since she has begun obsessively listening to the musical box which belonged to her great-aunt, Andrea von Strucker, which awakened psychic memories in Lauren. When Andy was confronted by Lauren in one of their shared dreams, she threw him across the Inner Circle training room with the third attempt of using her new disc-forming trick that she learned from the psychic memories of the von Struckers. While powerful, the Fenris Force takes time to unleash. During the preparation for utilizing the force, the users are completely vulnerable to attack.
