"What If... Captain Carter Fought the HYDRA Stomper?"[]
In 2012, Peggy Carter and Natasha Romanoff fought together during the Battle of New York, bonding while fighting the Chitauri, with the other Avengers being Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Wasp. Peggy ordered Clint and Hope to be the team's eyes in the sky and Tony and Thor to keep the fighting on the ground while Peggy and Natasha hijacked Chitauri vehicles to go after Loki on top of Stark Tower. Near the wormhole machine, Captain Carter and the Black Widow battled and defeated the God of Mischief together and saved the Earth.
In the present day, Natasha suggested the option of enlisting Tony and Bruce Banner's help to reverse what the Red Room did to Steve Rogers, but Peggy refused as they didn't have time since Steve would now be wanted by every government in the world.
Following the destruction of the Red Room, Peggy stole one of Tony's cars for a night out, intending to then find and save Steve. However, she was suddenly pulled into another universe.
