"All right, get him on his feet. We can all stand around posing up a storm later. By the way, feel free to clean up."
―Iron Man[src]

Anthony "Tony" Stark was a billionaire philanthropist and owner of Stark Industries. Stark donned a suit of high-tech armor and became the superhero known as Iron Man. He was a founding member of the Avengers. He shared the history of his counterpart up until 2012 when Ant-Man was flicked onto the case containing the Tesseract by 2023 Tony.

Biography[]

Avengers: Endgame[]

After the Avengers had defeated Loki in the Battle of New York, Tony helped Thor and a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents escort Loki to the lobby of Stark Tower.

Alexander Pierce and a group of HYDRA agents impersonating S.H.I.E.L.D. agents tried to convince Thor and Tony to let them take custody of Loki and the Tesseract, but Scott Lang pulled out a cable inside the Arc Reactor in Tony's chest, sending him into cardiac arrest and allowing the 2023 Tony to take the Tesseract. However, while Thor, Pierce and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents tended to Tony, the Hulk, enraged at having to take the stairs, burst through the stairwell door, knocking 2023 Tony down and causing the Tesseract to slide over to Loki's feet, prompting him to pick it up and use it to teleport away. Thor used Mjölnir to restart Tony's Arc Reactor, saving his life. Tony noticed that Loki had escaped.
