- Inhuman Physiology: After undergoing Terrigenesis, Black Bolt gained superhuman powers. Black Bolt was also the most powerful Inhuman on the entire planet.
- Sonokgenesis: Black Bolt could generate, create and project soundwaves from his vocal chords.
- Hypersonic Scream: Black Bolt could release hypersonically amplified soundwaves through his vocal chords. Black Bolt's hypersonic scream could be fatal to anyone who hear it, humans and Inhumans alike. His hypersonic scream was powerful enough to kill multiple individuals at close range, Black Bolt had also obliterate Stephen Strange after he became too corrupted by the Darkhold, the full destructive potential of Black Bolt's hypersonic scream was unknown.

- Sign Language: Black Bolt knows sign language, due to his sound wave powers being permanently active, he used it as a way to communicate with others, in order to avoid unintentionally hurting or killing someone.
