Boyd Kirkland co-wrote the story for X-Men: Evolution episodes "Day of Reckoning", "Dark Horizon" and "Ascension: Part 1" and the screen story for Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2.
He directed Wolverine and the X-Men episodes "Hindsight: Part 1" and "Foresight: Part 3", produced X-Men: Evolution and was storyboard artist for Wolverine and the X-Men episodes "Hindsight: Part 1" and "Part 3" and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episode "Breakout".
