"This is your chance... to earn that look in your daughter's eyes. To become the hero that she already thinks you are."

Cassandra "Cassie" Eleanor Lang is the daughter of Scott Lang.

Biography[]

Ant-Man[]

Cassie was born to Maggie and Scott Lang. Her father was a petty thief who vowed to quit his life of crime when his daughter was born; however, he was arrested after breaking into the house of the head of Vistacorp and sending back money the company had stolen from it's customers. Cassie's parents divorced while Scott was still in prison and Maggie began dating Jim Paxton, who raised Cassie like his own daughter.

A few years later, Jim hosted Cassie's birthday party. Scott arrived, having been released from prison. The father and daughter hugged and Scott presented her with a gift of an ugly rabbit toy which she instantly loved. Despite Scott wishing to keep his brief visit a secret, an overexcited Cassie went to inform her mother of Scott's arrival; Maggie promptly spat out her drink in surprise. Maggie and Jim spoke to Scott and, after talking in private, Scott left the party, waving goodbye to his disappointed daughter.

In Avengers: Endgame, as a teenager, Cassie is much more serious and mature, she was devastated, as she believed that her father was killed in the Decimation, but five years after the Decimation, when Scott is revealed to be alive, she is both shocked and relieved and the pair shared a happy reunion.
