Trivia[]
- This episode ties the series closer to the comics than any other thus far... the Tyrone figurine in the arcade looking as he does in the comics; wherein he became more of a living shadow (as shown at the beginning of the episode), but contained by a hooded cloak (dark blue with black stripes, like Billy's unfinished one from season 1). And the video game said they'd "been injected with radioactive heroin"; while in the original 1980s comics, Tyrone & Tandy were both runaways, who met testing a "modified heroin" that actually unlocked their powers. [While they were originally thought to be latent mutants, they were later revealed to be "mutates", those who gain their powers via other means, such as Spider-Man and Hulk. This takes them out from under the mutants taboo Disney (and therefore Freeform) has to deal with.
