- This episode marks the first time Matt is actually shown putting on the helmet (or any part) to the Daredevil suit.
- The song heard when Fisk is eating dinner in prison is the same one played in the first season whenever Fisk prepared his breakfast. The only difference is that it was modulated to sound as though it is playing through the prison's loudspeaker.
- A newspaper article at around 30 mins, in a frame on the left wall (at The New York Bulletin) clearly reads: "Stark Tower destroyed during Battle of New York"!
- This episode marks the first appearance of Elektra's signature three-pronged blades.
- This is the first face-to-face encounter between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk since Season 1.
- The prison workout room where Fisk meets The Punisher is the same one used in Gotham's 'Prisoners' in the second season when Jim Gordon is in jail.
