Founded by leader Admiral Fukyama. Division 3 was found with the purpose of protecting the human race from the rise of mutants. When Sydney Barrett accidentally unleashed the powers of her boyfriend David Haller after switching bodies with him Divison 3 arrived to investigate. agents Clark and Brubaker eventually managed to track down and capture David, where they tried to interrogate him for the location of Sydney. However, David was rescued by Sydney, Ptonomy and Kerry Loudermilk, which resulted in the horrific scarring of the Interrogator Clark.
In order to try and find David, Division 3 resorted to kidnapping David's sister Amy and interrogating her. When David was - under the influence of the Shadow King - he arrived and slaughtered most of the agents in the facility, including Brubaker.
