Charles Francis Xavier, also known as Professor X, is a level-4 mutant who possesses telepathic powers.
Charles is the husband of Gabrielle Xavier and the father of David Haller.

Early Life[]
Charles found himself in a mental hospital where he met a young woman, named Gabrielle who had been left in a catatonic state after surviving the horrors of the Holocaust. Using his powers, Charles attempted to help Gabrielle overcome the trauma and after sometime he had succeeded. The two began a romantic relationship and eventually left the mental hospital, due to Charles powers. They would go to had a son, named David.
But while Charles was happy with his family, he longed to find others like himself, and created a device that amplified his telepathic powers and allowed him to make contact with a fellow mutant, named Amahl Farouk. Xavier left home to go meet Farouk much to his wife's dismay, although Charles assures her that he would return home as soon as possible.
But upon encountering Farouk, Charles discovered to his dismay that Farouk was evil, immoral, and lacked a conscience and was disgusted by this fellow mutant in how he used his powers.
Charles became enemies with Amahl, also known as the Shadow King. After seemingly defeating the Shadow King, Charles gave David away to live with the Haller family, in order to protect him. But unbeknownst to Charles, Farouk had latched himself onto David as a mental parasite slowly feeding off of him.
