Franklin Storm was the father of Johnny and Sue Storm.
Biography[]
Fantastic Four[]
Franklin Storm discovered Reed Richards and Ben Grimm at a science fair, then he recruited them to join the Baxter Foundation. The two would aid Franklin's daughter, Susan, and his protege, Victor von Doom, in the "Quantum Gate" project which Victor created. Johnny Storm also joins the team. Franklin later goes to Area 57 to see his children after they have returned from Planet Zero, altered to the molecular level. When Franklin's supervisor, government scientist, Dr. Harvey Allen takes Victor out of Planet Zero, he is killed. Victor, whose suit is now permanently bonded to his body, now has telepathic abilities and kills most of the Baxter Foundation's scientists, including Franklin.
