Frederick "Fred" Dukes, also known as the Blob, is a mutant. His mutant characteristic is being very fat with a rubbery skin. He can use this to make himself unmovable, to absorb punches and to bounce bullets away.

- Superhuman Strength: Blob is far stronger than a normal human.
- Impenetrable Skin: Blob's rubbery skin cannot be penetrated.
- Shock Absorption: Due his rubbery skin, Blob can absorb and reflect large blows.
- Immovability: Blob's massive weight and stature, gives Blob his own gravitational pull, which makes him almost impossible to move.
