Biography[]
The Amazing Spider-Man[]
- "Did you tell the boy?"
"Tell him what?"
"Did you tell the boy the truth about his father?"
"No."
"Well, that's very good. So we'll let him be for now."

After Curt Connors is locked in a high security cell, he is approached by Fiers, who asks him if he told Peter Parker the truth about his father. Connors replies no and Fiers vanishes. Connors, in rage, yells after him that he should leave Peter alone.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2[]
The Gentleman arrives at Ravencroft Institute to visit Harry Osborn, who was imprisoned after his battle with Spider-Man. They discuss his plans for revenge against Spider-Man, and Fiers proposes creating a group of villains to defeat him. The Gentleman also informs Harry that Aleksei Sytsevich, a Russian mob boss who was defeated by Spider-Man, is a prime candidate to don a rhinoceros-based exo-suit created by Oscorp. Fiers frees Sytsevich from prison so he can don the Rhino exo-suit.
