The Hellfire Club, also known as the Inner Circle, were a mutant terrorist organization that were founded by the Brotherhood of Mutants and were formerly led by the Hellfire Club council, who believed that mutants are superior to humans.
The Hellfire Club were led by the council, until they were all killed by Esme Frost, Phoebe Frost, Reeva Payge and Sophie Frost, after which Reeva became the new leader of the Hellfire Club.

The Hellfire Club was founded by the Brotherhood of Mutants in the 1950's and were lead by a council known of individuals, who were usually comprised of exceptionally powerful mutants.

Andrea and Andreas von Strucker joined the Hellfire Club in the early 1960's. The organization was seemingly disbanded after being run off by the X-Men.
Esme, Sophie and Phoebe Frost are also members of the organization. After the assassination of Dr. Roderick Campbell and senator Montez. Lorna Dane, Tex Sage, Mark and Andy Strucker, left the Mutant Underground and joined the Hellfire Club.

Overview[]
Like the Brotherhood of Mutants, the Hellfire Club, believe that humans are inferior to mutants, believing that humans and mutants will never be able to co-exist in peace. They also protect innocent mutants from human oppressors, but the Brotherhood of Mutants believe in being outright aggressive, as they prefer to utilizing far more aggressive means to end conflict.

- As of "oMens", the Hellfire Club has been officially disbanded forever, due to the fact that, the organization has been left completely leaderless and with no one to guide them, since Reeva Payge was killed by Reed Strucker. Also, most of its other members were indirectly eliminated, by Reed, during his final confrontation against Reeva and that, the remaining surviving members, such as Andy Strucker, Esme Frost and Lorna Dane respectively, except for Sophie Frost and Phoebe Frost, have since rejoined the Mutant Underground.
