Herman was an inmate of Seagate Prison. He was close to fellow inmate Trevor Slattery, acting as an aide and bodyguard, Trevor referred to Herman as his "butler". He was killed by Ten Rings agent Jackson Norriss when he abducted Slattery from Seagate.
