- After interviewing Ward for the Daily Bulletin, reporter Jennifer Many places a phone call to "Ellison" asking him not to give the front page of the next day's paper to "Karen". This is a reference to Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), who took a job as a reporter for the Bulletin during season 2 of Daredevil and Mitchell Ellison (Geoffrey Cantor), chief of the newspaper.
- The reporter that Ward meets with tells her boss, "Don't give Karen the front page." She is referring to Karen Page from Daredevil.
- Colleen Wing fights a man named Jimmy Pierce. Pierce appears in Punisher comics as a vigilante nicknamed the Hitman Punisher.
- The first time the Dragon emblem on Danny's chest is seen.
- The forearm guards worn by Colleen Wing are the same Daredevil wore as part of his season 1 costume.
