John Collins was a man from Westview, New Jersey who became Herb Feltman in the reality of "WandaVision", neighbor to Wanda Maximoff and Vision and member of the neighborhood watch.
Biography[]
WandaVision[]
"Previously On"[]
John Collins crossed the road when Wanda Maximoff drove through town to visit 2800 Sherwood Drive, the plot she had bought with Vision. Harold was absorbed into the reality of "WandaVision" when Wanda inadvertently created the Westview Anomaly and became the character "Herb".
"Don't Touch That Dial"[]
Herb was heading a neighborhood watch meeting when Vision came along to help. Herb and the rest of the men were unsure about Vision at first but came to like him as he joined in with their gossip.
Later, Herb watched the town talent show and was called upon by Vision to help with his card trick.
"We Interrupt This Program"[]
Based on a scan of Herb's face from the neighborhood watch meeting, Darcy Lewis ran facial recognition in the S.W.O.R.D. Response Base and identified him as New Jersey resident John Collins.
"Now in Color"[]
Herb was outside the Vision Residence, trimming the hedges between his and their home. Vision spotted him as he was idly cutting through the wall instead of the hedges but didn't seem to notice anything was wrong.
Later, Agnes and Herb were whispering to each other whilst Herb still cut through the wall. Vision confronted them and they told them about their concerns about Geraldine. Herb wanted to tell Vision something but cut himself off and returned to his home.
"All-New Halloween Spooktacular!"[]
Herb, dressed as Frankenstein's monster, was on patrol on Halloween with the rest of the neighborhood watch to try and prevent teenagers from vandalising the town. Wanda Maximoff spoke to him and discovered that Vision had lied to her about being on duty whilst Herb got updates about various Halloween crimes that were happening, unaware that Pietro Maximoff was using his superspeed and doing it right in front of him. Scared of Wanda, Herb asked her if there was anything he could change before walking away, his back covered in silly string.
"The Series Finale"[]
Herb and Norm were walking along the street talking when Agatha Harkness freed them from their enthrallment. They immediately marched over towards Wanda Maximoff to demand freedom, begging her, along with the rest of the freed residents. Overwhelmed, Wanda yelled out and accidentally strangled the townspeople. She quickly magicked away the strangling and opened the anomaly telling them all to run.
After the Hex was completely gone, John and his neighbors glared at Wanda as she prepared to leave, unable to forgive her for what she did to them.
