Powers[]
- Mutate Physiology: Sauron is a very powerful mutate who possesses superhuman strength, durability, agility, flight, hypnosis and life-force energy absorption. Sauron also has a pteranodon-like appearance with green skin, bright red eyes, and a razor-sharp beak and claws.
- Transformation: Sauron is capable of transforming into a humanoid pteranodon, whenever he absorbs life-force energy from other mutants.
- Superhuman Strength: Sauron is much stronger than normal humans and most other mutates.
- Superhuman Durability: Sauron is far more durable than normal humans and most other mutates.
- Superhuman Agility: Sauron is far more agile than normal humans and most other mutates.
- Flight: Due to Sauron's pteranodon-like wings, he is able to fly at amazing speeds and at high altitudes.
- Hypnosis: Sauron can manipulate the minds of other individuals, to get them to do what he wants them to do, even other individuals, who have incredibly powerful wills, such as Professor X and Storm cannot resist his hypnotic powers for very long. Whenever Sauron utilizes his hypnotic powers; both of his eyes glow bright purple.
- Life-Force Energy Absorption: Sauron can absorb life-force energy from other living beings, humans, mutants and mutates alike.
Weaknesses[]
- Involuntary Control: If Karl absorbs life-force energy from other mutants, he will involuntarily transform into his alter-ego, Sauron, a savage, ruthless and malevolent being.
- Life-Force Energy Dependency: Sauron has to absorb life-force energy from other living beings, in order to survive and stay alive, but he does not require huge amounts of life-force energy, to survive and stay alive.
