Kate is visited in her apartment by Kamala Khan, who explains to her that she is putting together a team of young heroes, also revealing that she is planning to recruit Cassie Lang.

Character traits

Kate is an extremely brave and confident individual, even in the face of death, for example, when she faced up against several members of the Tracksuit Mafia, she did not display any signs of fear or insecurity. Kate is also highly intelligent and is able to easily connect things that other individuals may overlook.

Kate is able to see the goodness inside other individuals, for example, after she had discovered that Clint Barton was formerly the vigilante known as Ronin, Kate was able to understand that the reason why Clint killed several criminals from different crime organizations was because it was his way of mourning and grieving over the loss of his family, following the Decimation.

Kate has a strong sense of justice, honour and good morals, for example, after she had discovered that her mother, Eleanor Bishop was involved in Armand Duquesne III's murder and that she had committed other crimes for Wilson Fisk, even after she had already repaid Derek Bishop's debt to Fisk, as well as the fact that she had hired Yelena Belova to kill Clint, who she saw as a threat to exposing her crimes and secrets to the public, Kate was completely enraged and disgusted by her mother's despicable actions.

Although Kate saved her mother from Fisk, this did not prevent her from handing Eleanor over to the police for her crimes, as she cannot and likely never will be able to forgive her mother for her actions.

Abilities

• Master Acrobat: Kate has trained since she was 5 years old, and is an excellent acrobat and gymnast.
• High-level Intellect: Kate is a highly intelligent individual. She was able to quickly figure out that her mother, Eleanor Bishop's then-fiancé, Jack Duquesne had ulterior motives to marry her. Kate was also able to figure out that Clint Barton was Ronin.
• Expert Hand-To-Hand Combatant/Martial Artist: Kate has trained since she was 5 years old, and is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist. Her combat style is comprised of aikido, fencing, jiu-jitsu, judo and karate. She was able to hold her own against several members of the Tracksuit Mafia.
• Master Archer: Kate is a highly skilled archer. She was able to shoot an arrow at the bell's rope of the Stane Tower from a considerable distance.
  • Expert Markswoman: Kate is a highly skilled markswoman with both arrows and other objects. She proficiently threw wine bottles at members of the Tracksuit Mafia and hit her mark.
• Master Swordswoman: Kate is a highly skilled swordswoman. She was two times state fencing champion.

• Recurve bow: Kate utilizes a black recurve bow for shooting arrows at a long-range or mid-range distance, as well as for close-range combat when she is operating as a vigilante.
