"Listen, I need you to go to Oscorp. I need you to access the cross-species file. It's a blue serum, File 12389."
Spider-Man[src]

The Lizard Serum Antidote is an antidote to the Lizard Serum.

History[]

The Amazing Spider-Man[]

With the Lizard planning to turn everyone into Lizard-hybrids like himself, Peter contacted Gwen Stacy and directed her to go to Oscorp Tower and create the antidote for him. While she was waiting for it to finish cooking, the Lizard attacked the lab in search of the Ganali Device. Although the Lizard managed to get the device, he didn't interfere in the creation of the antidote which finished shortly after his departure. Captain Stacy then took the antidote from his daughter and made his way up to the top of Oscorp Tower.

During a battle atop Oscorp Tower, Peter managed to replace the Lizard Serum with the antidote in the Ganali Device. The Ganali Device launched a cloud of the antidote across the city, curing everyone that the Lizard had used his serum on and the Lizard himself, transforming the Lizard back into his human form.

Spider-Man: No Way Home[]

"Well, I got Connors. I've already cured him once, so no big deal."
Peter-Three[src]

Due to a spell gone wrong, a variant of the Lizard was one of the villains pulled into an alternate universe, in his case from some time before he was cured via the antidote.

While working on cures for the universe-displaced villains, Peter-Three revealed to his two counterparts that he can create the antidote, revealing that he'd already done it once and so it was "no big deal." Using the chemicals in the science lab of Midtown School of Science and Technology, Peter-Three was able to create the antidote once more, turning it into a gaseous form so as to make it easier to give to the Lizard.

In preparation for the final battle, the antidote was webbed up on the scaffolding surrounding the Statue of Liberty by Peter-Two alongside all of the other cures. During the battle, MJ grabbed it and threw it to Peter-One as he battled the Lizard. Peter-One forced the antidote into the Lizard's mouth and activated the sprayer, causing it to consume the Lizard in a green cloud of the antidote. Connors was cured and transformed back into his human form once again.

Trivia[]

  • The fact that Peter directed Gwen to a file in the Oscorp computer suggests that the antidote either already existed and Peter knew that it would work ahead of time or that he'd created it at some point and added it to the computer.
  • In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter appears to have modified the original antidote slightly so that it is faster acting and takes on the form of a green gas instead of the blue particles that it was in The Amazing Spider-Man.
