Agent Carter is a short film featuring Peggy Carter after Captain America: The First Avenger. It is featured on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray.
Plot[]
The film takes place one year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, in which Agent Carter, a member of the Strategic Scientific Reserve, assigned to the New York office.
S.S.R. is in search of the mysterious Zodiac, and after a failed attempt by three other agents to obtain the object, Carter eventually succeed in the mission. She does this without the authorization of her misogynistic boss, Agent Flynn, who reprimands her afterward. Moments later, Flynn gets a call from Howard Stark and is told that Carter will be transferring to Washington to run S.H.I.E.L.D. with Stark himself. Flynn is ordered to tell Carter that he is "honored to inform her that she will be running S.H.I.E.L.D." and offers to assist her in carrying her belongings. Carter informs him that as always, she has never needed his help.
