Michael Morbius is a Nobel Prize-winning biologist suffering from a rare blood disease, who attempts to cure himself with vampire bat DNA, but instead becomes afflicted with a form of vampirism, which sees him develop unusual inhuman traits and abilities, the progressive, gradual mutation of his physical appearance and the gradual degradation of his mental health for the worst, by becoming a human-turned-vampire also known as Morbius the Living Vampire.

Michael is a brilliant scientist, turned vampire after a lab incident occurred during an experiment which was supposed to cure his blood illness. Michael possesses all of the classical vampire powers, but he's not affected by sunlight, and he can fly using the wind streams. He hates his current status, and tries everything to cure himself.
