Mitchell Laurio was a guard working at the plastic prison, where Magneto was held after he was captured at Liberty Island and had a security clearance level of 0023-C.

During his employment at the prison, Laurio was tricked, drugged, and injected with a large quantity of iron by Mystique. This iron was then extracted and used by Magneto to destroy his prison and escape, killing Laurio in the process.
