The Mutant Response Division is a law enforcement task force assigned with the duty of capturing criminal mutants.

Deadpool 2[]
During Russell Collins destructive outburst at the Essex House for Mutant Rehabilitation the MRD arrived with the goal of capturing Russell and imprisoning him in the Ice Box. When the X-Men ( consisting of Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Deadpool) arrived one of the officers on the scene suggested to them and the staff that Russell belonged in the Ice Box. However Deadpool decided to try and reason with him and when that failed incapacitated him with his swords. Soon however Russell revealed that the staff at the house were abusing him which resulted in Wade killing several of them before being subdued himself by Colossus who handed both him and Russell over to the MRD to be imprionsed the Ice Box.
