History[]
Spider-Man[]
Peter Parker lived in New York City along with his best friends, Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn, where he ended up being bitten on the back of his right hand by a genetically engineered super spider during a school field trip to a genetics lab in Columbia University. Upon receiving the proportionate powers of a spider, he used them to become the crime-fighting superhero, Spider-Man, vowing to protect New York City from its criminal underworld after his beloved uncle, Ben Parker, was killed by a carjacker. The first villain Spider-Man faced was the Green Goblin, who brought terror to New York and targeted Spider-Man and his loved ones. The Green Goblin met his demise when he was accidentally impaled by his own gilder during his final fight with Spider-Man.
Spider-Man 2[]
Two years later, Peter was struggling to balance his double life as Spider-Man, fighting crime in New York, and his normal life as Peter Parker. New York City would eventually have a new villain, the tentacled Doctor Octopus, who robbed a bank to fund for his research to create the fusion reactor, which would destroy half of New York as soon when it was provided with tritium. Spider-Man battled Doctor Octopus and was able to persuade him to redeem himself in order to stop the fusion reactor from growing out of control. Doctor Octopus, in an act of redemption for his crimes and for the death of his wife, brought the fusion reactor down on himself and sank it into the river, resulting in his self-sacrifice.
Spider-Man 3[]
One year following the self-sacrifice of Doctor Octopus, Peter would face new multiple villains in New York; the shape-shifting Sandman (who was revealed to be Uncle Ben's actual killer), an alien symbiote that would bond with Eddie Brock, becoming Venom, and his estranged best friend, Harry, who took on the mantle of the New Goblin. Spider-Man managed to defeat both villains, with the help of a reformed Harry, at the cost of Harry's self-sacrifice when he was impaled with his glider by Venom. Spider-Man vaporized the symbiote using one of the Pumpkin Bombs from Harry's glider, though Eddie died along with it, forgave Sandman after learning the truth about Uncle Ben's accidental murder, and mended his friendship with Harry before he died in his and Mary Jane's arms.
Following Harry's self-sacrifice, Peter continued to fight crime in New York City as Spider-Man, vowing to keep it safe from any criminals and supervillains as possible for many years before he was transported into another reality.
