Norman Osborn was a scientist turned criminal who had been mutated into the monstrous Green Goblin, and was one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies.
Biography[]
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse[]
Norman Osborn was an unscrupulous industrialist and biologist who underwent an experiment that horribly mutated him into a massive dragon/goblin-esque monster. He soon came into conflict with the superhero Spider-Man, and became one of his greatest foes as the super-villain Green Goblin. Under unknown circumstances, he was employed into service to the villainous crime boss Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, something he notes he didn't have a choice over.
In the following years, Kingpin commissioned the Super-Collider, a particle accelerator-esque machine that could open portals to different dimensions, designed and created by Dr. Olivia Octavius. Osborn was in on this, and when Spider-Man caught wind of this scheme, he engaged the Green Goblin in the bunker where the Collider was located. As the two fought, Spider-Man tried to reason with Goblin over the dangers the Collider posed, particularly that it could open a black hole under New York. Goblin only noted it wasn't up to him, aggravated at Spidey's interference.
Unbeknownst to them, a boy named Miles Morales, whom had obtained similar superpowers, had stumbled upon their battle. Their destructive brawl put Miles in danger, and after being knocked off a platform, Spider-Man saved him.
Later, Fisk's second enforcer, the Prowler, engaged Spider-Man as well, as they fought across the Collider's chamber. As Fisk activated the machine, Goblin made a final attempt to kill Spider-Man by forcing him into the colliding energy beams, which caused it to malfunction, resulting in a huge explosion that caused a disruption across the multiverse, opening portals in other dimensions that pulled several alternate spider-themed heroes into their universe. The damage done to the Collider caused debris to crush Goblin underweight, killing him. However, his actions wounded Spider-Man, who was finished off by Kingpin, therefore in death, Osborn succeeded in defeating his nemesis.

Goblin is a giant mutant demonic green monster. He has two bat-like wings, a tail and red eyes.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Superhuman Physiology: Due to Norman's mutations, he gained a number of superhuman abilities thanks to his monstrous new form.
- Super Strength: Partly due to his sheer size, Green Goblin is incredibly strong and can smash concrete with his brute strenght.
- Invulnerability: Green Goblin's skin is incredibly thick and durable making it difficult to penetrate. He has proven to be very resilient and even after head trauma he was able to shake it off to pursue Spider-Man in the Super Collider.
- Flight: Green Goblin has a pair of wings that give him the ability to fly.
