She later hears a noise and finds [[Peter Parker (Into the Spider-Verse)|Spider-Man]] in her office, before realizing he is another universe's Spider-Man. She is amazed by this, since she discovers her machine must of brought him there. She straps him to a chair, takes a swab of saliva from him and sees his cells are deteriorating. She correctly summarizes he must of been glitching, something he does immediately. She tells him that it won't be long before he dies and says she can't wait to watch, something surprises him. Peter asks her what her name is and she introduces herself, as her mechanical tentacles bind him and he realizes is the universe's super villain known as Doctor Octopus. She flings Spider-Man around before throwing him out, with her discovering he had an [[Miles Morales (Into the Spider-Verse)|invisible friend]] who took her computer to build a new USB drive or a "goober".

As the duo attempted to escape, Doc Ock pursues them until catching the computer but was attacked by [[Gwendolyn Stacy (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)|Gwen Stacy]] another spider hero with the name Spider-Woman. She attempts to defeat her but is overpowered by the spider-person, who takes the computer and retreats with the other Spiders.

She binds a loaded Tombstone and informs him of a third Spider-person, something that doesn't please him but she tells him that this was a good thing in a way, as this meant her machine worked and they only need to kill a couple of "spiders" to complete his goal of bringing back his family. Seeing her point, he withholds Tombstone from killing her and tells her that the collider will be up and running.

Olivia "Liv" Octavius is the head scientist at Alchemax. She worked for Wilson Fisk and acted as the criminal Dr. Octopus.
