Paramount Pictures is a film and television production, and distribution company that released the first four films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (excluding The Incredible Hulk) independently by Marvel Studios. Paramount formerly owned the distribution rights to The Avengers and Iron Man 3, but sold them to Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in October 2010.
All live-action films distributed by Paramount Pictures based on Marvel Comics have been produced by Marvel Studios.
