Peter Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, is a mutant capable of moving and thinking at superhuman speeds. He is a member of the X-Men.
Biography[]
Deadpool 2/Once Upon a Deadpool[]
When Wade Wilson blew himself up after blaming himself for the death of Vanessa Carlysle, Colossus brought him to the X-Mansion to recover. While there, Deadpool began complaining that he never saw other X-Men around the mansion apart from Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. While ranting, Deadpool was unaware that Quicksilver, Professor X, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Beast were in a room behind him. Beast quietly closed the door so that he did not notice them.
Character traits[]
Peter is a kleptomaniac who has a hinted reputation for stealing. It is also assumed that he has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) due to his hyperactive nature. He is very sarcastic and witty, and is described as a "pain in the ass" by Charles Xavier. His personality compliments his power, he's very outgoing and hyper. Peter's wit is notable as he is constantly making jokes for either his own amusement or to comfort his friends and teammates as shown when they all went to battle Apocalypse and Maximoff made fun of himself on how he still lived with his mother even though he was an adult much to the others amusement and lightening the mood before their battle.

- Mutant Physiology: Quicksilver is an extremely powerful mutant who possesses superhuman speed, agility, reflexes, stamina, accelerated perception, etc.
- Superhuman Speed: Quicksilver is much faster than normal humans. He can move faster than the naked eye can track and possibly many times faster than the speed of sound. His abilities allow him to move, think, act and perceive less than seconds, faster than the natural speed of time, making the world around him appear frozen in time or in slow motion when he uses his abilities.
- Superhuman Durability: Quicksilver is far more durable than normal humans. He can survive the impact of his speed; in fact, kinetic energy, inertia, friction, pressure and vectors have absolutely no effect on him.
- Superhuman Agility: Quicksilver is far more agile than normal humans. He was able to jump up high into the air without any build-up or change in speed and balance.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Quicksilver's reflexes are much faster than normal humans. He is able to catch bullets in mid-air.
- Superhuman Stamina: Quicksilver possesses far more stamina than normal humans; allowing him to remain physically active for longer periods of time.
- Extreme Force Generation: Due to his speed, Quicksilver can generate very high amounts of force, making the weight and hardness of other objects and people irrelevant while he moves at super speed. When he moves at super speed, Peter sees the world around him in slow motion and generates no resisting force, making him immune to kinetic energy, inertia, friction, pressure, and vectors. A simple tap on the cheek at super human speed was enough to send a fully grown man, flying. Also, while in super speed, pulling off curtains from large windows caused the windows and the surrounding wall to explode. He was even able to send Apocalypse flying through the air at great speed by hitting him at super speed, and repeated this process, allowing him to hit Apocalypse again and again mostly quicker than Apocalypse could react.
- Accelerated Perception: Due to Quicksilver's superhuman speed, he can perceive the world in slow motion which amplifiers his superhuman reflexes and thinking time.
- Infinitismal Horizontal Force: Quicksilver can run so fast that he is able to defy gravity and run up vertical surfaces.

- Advanced Hand-To-Hand Combatant: Quicksilver is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, his combat skills combined with his super powers; makes Quicksilver a formidable opponent alone in single combat.

- Walkman: Peter carries around two walkmen that are attached to his belt. That way he can listen to his music while he's running.
- Headphones: Peter wears clip on headphones to listen to his music.
