Peter Parker's Apartment is the apartment that Peter Parker, Ditkovich, and Ursula Ditkovich reside in. It is located in Manhattan, New York City.

History[]

Spider-Man 2[]

In 2004, after two years of being Spider-Man and the accidental death of the Green Goblin, Peter Parker moved into this apartment, while studying for his biophysics classes at Columbia University and working for the Daily Bugle. The apartment had small rooms and a single bathroom that all residents had to individually take. His landlord, Mr. Ditkovich, constantly tells him to pay the rents for his apartment, while his daughter, Ursula, took a liking to Peter.

In his apartment, which was in one room on the top floor, Peter also made it his secret headquarters when operating as Spider-Man, having installed a police scanner to inform him about any crimes in the city of New York. Because of his struggle to balance his double life as a superhero and his normal life, Peter became emotionally stressed, which caused his powers to vanish and him to temporarily give up being Spider-Man, throwing his suit in a trash bin. During his time off from being Spider-Man, Peter maintained his studying for his biophysics classes, which impressed his teacher, Dr. Curt Connors. He had a visit from Ursula, who offered him some cake and milk, while he was wondering if he should be Spider-Man or not, after he saved a little girl from a burning building the previous night, but failed to save a citizen from the same building.

Following the return of his powers, his reclaiming of his suit, and the self-sacrifice of Doctor Octopus, Peter remained in his apartment until he received a surprise visit from Mary Jane Watson, his childhood crush, who became aware of his identity after he saved her from Doc Ock and called off her wedding with John Jameson III. She and Peter admitted their feelings for each other, regardless of his dual identity, before she encouraged him to go and fight for justice when they heard police sirens outside. Mary Jane watched as Peter web-swinged off as Spider-Man to fight crime.

Spider-Man 3[]

Over a year after the self-sacrifice of Doctor Octopus, Peter had finally managed to balance his double life as both Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Following a date with Mary Jane, an alien made out of black goo had latched its way to Peter's apartment when it attached itself to his motorscooter after falling down from a meteorite. When Peter learned about his uncle's true murderer, Flint Marko, who became the Sandman, his vengeance attracted the attention of the symbiote, which bonded with him while he was asleep in bed, changing his suit from a friendly red and blue to an aggressive full black. Because of this, not only were his powers enhanced, but his aggression and rage were also amplified, making him lash out on his loved ones and battle Sandman in the subway in a relentless way.

When he discovered that the symbiote was changing him for the worst, making those suffer as it did for him, Peter became horrified and, with the use of a bell chime from a church tower, removed and rejected the symbiote, which bonded with Eddie Brock, who was in the church praying for Peter's death, and transformed him into Venom. Peter later returned to his apartment, showering himself to clean the rest of the black ooze, but became extremely remorseful for the terrible things he had done, particularly disfiguring the right side of his best friend Harry Osborn's face with a pumpkin bomb and accidentally backhanding Mary Jane, instead of putting the blame on the symbiote's influence. His aunt, May Parker, paid him a visit and encouraged him to keep trying his best so he can make things right with Mary Jane and his loved ones. When he learned about Mary Jane being kidnapped by Venom and Sandman, Peter returned to his apartment and donned his old red and blue costume, glad to be back in his friendly suit again before heading off to save Mary Jane.
