Peter Rasputin, also known as Colossus, is a level-3 mutant who possesses the powers of metal mimicry, superhuman strength, durability and stamina.
Biography[]
Wolverine and the X-Men: Hindsight[]
Colossus joined the X-Men. Colossus trained with Shadowcat and Nightcrawler when Wolverine messed the three up and left them hanging once they were captured by him. Once Jean Grey blew up the X-Mansion, Colossus left the X-Men. He returned to Russia to be with his family. When Wolverine reformed the team, Colossus turned down the offer, because he did not want to leave his family again.

Powers[]
- Mutant Physiology: Colossus is a very powerful mutant who possesses metal mimicry, superhuman strength, durability and stamina.
- Organic Metal Transformation: Colossus is capable of transforming his entire body completely into pure metal; but he is never seen in his human form.
- Superhuman Strength: When Colossus is in his metal form, he is much stronger than normal humans and most other mutants. He can lift objects that weigh up to 100 tons relatively easily.
- Superhuman Durability: When Colossus is in his metal form, he is far more durable than normal humans and most other mutants; for example, bullets cannot penetrate his metal form. He can also withstand great impacts; such as surviving falls from tremendous heights, that would have severely injured or kill a normal human.
- Superhuman Stamina: Colossus possesses far more stamina than normal humans and most other mutants, allowing him to remain physically active for longer periods of time; he can physically exert himself for several days before experiencing fatigue.
- Organic Metal Transformation: Colossus is capable of transforming his entire body completely into pure metal; but he is never seen in his human form.

- Bilingual: Peter speaks Russian fluently, in addition to English; albeit with a thick Russian accent.

- Water: When Colossus is in his metal form; he becomes too heavy to swim in water.
- Magnetism: When Colossus is in his metal form; he is vulnerable to being subdued or manipulated by enemies using magnetic powers.
- Human Form: Colossus only possesses superhuman physical attributes, when he is in his metal form, in his human form; he can be overpowered by other mutants and superhumans respectively, just like any normal human.
