Project Deathlok was a HYDRA project conducted in cooperation with the Cybertek Corporation which started in 1990.
History[]
In 1990, John Garrett joined HYDRA after being impacted by the IED in Sarajevo, becoming the first project of Project Deathlok. The project saved Garrett from death, but his organs began failing and only the bio-mechanical parts kept him alive. This made him dependent on the Centipede Serum.
