Quentin Beck was a former employee of Stark Industries who was fired for becoming enraged over his life's work named B.A.R.F. by Tony Stark.
After Stark's death, Beck worked with a team of other disgruntled former Stark Industries employees and invented the Elementals and the superhero persona Mysterio to take his revenge.
