Robert "Bruce" Banner is a renowned scientist who specialises in the field of gamma radiation.
Bruce is able to transform into the Hulk; whenever he is stressed, enraged or seriously injured; due to the fact that he was exposed to gamma radiation that genetically modified his DNA.
Bruce is a founding member of the Avengers. He shared the history of his counterpart up until 2012 when he inadvertantly knocked the Tesseract out of Tony Stark's hands and let Loki escape with it.

Avengers: Endgame[]
After the Avengers had defeated Loki in the Battle of New York, Hulk tried to join Tony, Thor, Loki, and a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in the elevator, but was told by Tony and Thor to take the stairs, enraging him.
Hulk was enraged over having to walk down the stairs. When he finally reached the lobby, he burst through the door, knocking 2023 Tony down and inadvertently interrupting his and Scott's plan to steal the Tesseract. The Tesseract skidded across the floor to Loki's feet, prompting him to pick it up and use it to teleport himself away.
