The Sakaarans are the natives of the planet Sakaar. Some Sakaarans are insectoid, some are humanoid and others are somewhere between.
History[]
Thor: The Dark World[]
Some Sakaarans were part of the Marauders that attacked Vanaheim. The Asgardians protected the Vanir from the attack.
Guardians of the Galaxy[]
A group of Sakaarans accompanied Korath to Morag. There they met Peter Quill who had stolen The Orb and managed to evade them. Korath and his army of Sakaarans chased him but Quill got to Milano and escaped.
Later, some Sakaarans accompanied Ronan to Knowhere, where they took the Orb.
During the Battle of Xandar, many Sakaarans were killed in battle with the Nova Corps, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Ravagers.
Thor: Ragnarok[]
After the defeat of Ultron, Hulk left Earth and ended up on Sakaar, home planet of the Sakaarans. Two years later, Thor Odinson and Loki Laufeyson also ended up on Sakaar. Thor was surrounded by humanoid Sakaarans but captured by Valkyrie and taken to fight in the Contest of Champions in front of the denizens of Sakaar. In the pit he met Korg who introduced him to Miek, a native insectoid Sakaaran.
Avengers: Endgame[]
Sakaarans were a part of the army that accompanied an alternate 2014 Thanos to the Sacred Timeline, they fought in the Battle of Earth where they were defeated by Iron Man's Snap and were erased along with Thanos' army (The Chitauri, the Black Order, Outriders and the Sakaarans).
