"Cut Man"
Samuel Silke and his business partner Roscoe Sweeney showed up at Fogwell's Gym to inform Jack Murdock that they had arranged a fight between him and Carl Creel. However, they went on to tell Jack that he was to drop in the fifth round, trying to fix the fight. Jack reluctantly agreed to their faces but decided to go against them once in the ring leading to Sweeney having him killed.
