San Venganza is a town in Texas that was once an inhabited centre, but is now a ghost town.
Blackheart was planning to turn San Venganza into the New Hell; but only after he had overthrown his father, Mephistopheles, who was the ruler of Hell.

Ghost Rider[]
In San Venganza, every single inhabitant sold their soul to Mephistopheles in exchange of something that led to their death. After all the population died, Carter Slade was sent to collect the Contract of San Venganza, containing all the damned souls, but feeling its power, he refused to give it to Mephisto and chose to hide it.
Decades later, Carter gave the contract to Johnny Blaze, who arrived in San Venganza and exchanged with Blackheart the paper for Roxanne Simpson's life. The town of San Venganza become the set of the ultimate battle between Ghost Rider and Legion.
