The Space Stone is one of the six Infinity Stones.
History[]
Avengers: Endgame[]
Five years after the Decimation, the remaining Avengers traveled back in time using the Quantum Realm to retrieve the Stones from the past to bring everyone back in their present.
After a mishap in 2012, Tony and Steve had to make a trip further back in time to a location where there was both a Tesseract and Pym Particles so they could return to the future. This took them to Camp Lehigh in 1970 where Tony retrieved the Tesseract and Space Stone inside of it and returned to 2023 with it.
Using all of the recovered Infinity Stones, Bruce was able to restore everyone who had been disintegrated by Thanos. During the final battle with the Thanos of 2014, Thanos got the Stones and attempted to use them to destroy all life in the universe and then remake it. However, Tony Stark stole them back and used them to destroy Thanos and his army at the cost of his own life.
After Thanos' defeat, the Space Stone was returned by Steve Rogers to its original time.
