
Spider-Man: The Official Movie Adaptation is a comic based on the movie Spider-Man. It was written by Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee, based on the film screenplay by David Koepp, while the comic was drawn by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer. It was released April 24, 2002, one month before the release of the movie.
Plot[]
High school student Peter Parker is accidentally granted extraordinary physical abilities, which he soon exploits as the costumed Spider-Man. Instead of liberating him, these powers complicate his life and even fail to prevent an unbearable personal tragedy that changes him. Then, through the sorrow and the suffering, the grieving young man learns the wisdom of the words: With great power, there must also come great responsibility.
