Stakar Ogord is one of the captains of the Ravagers.

Biography[]

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2[]

Stakar and his crew were on Contraxia at a club but cuts the visit short when he's approached by Yondu. He tells the owner of the club as he leaves that she lost the patronage of 99 Ravager factions for serving Yondu's faction. Yondu angrily confronts his mentor, but Stakar reminds him that he betrayed the code as Ravagers don't do child trafficking. Despite Yondu's pleas for a seat at the table, Stakar tells him that he'll never get a Ravager funeral despite the fact that he wears the flames and dresses like them. He then sadly tells Yondu that it broke the rest of the Ravagers hearts, plus his when he exiled Yondu and the rest of his faction from the Ravagers.

He's later contacted by Rocket along with the other Ravager leaders after Yondu helped the Guardians in saving the galaxy from Ego telling them what he did. The Ravagers arrive to begin a Ravager funeral for Yondu. Stakar agreed with a crew member that Yondu didn't let them down after all since his hand in destroying Ego redeemed him from his child trafficking jobs. Later on, Stakar reunites with the other Ravager leaders aboard his ship and tells them it's a shame that it took Yondu's death to bring them back together, but he would be happy knowing that they're back as a team and tells the other Ravagers to "steal some shit".
