- "My Aunt May taught me that everyone deserves a second chance. And that's why I'm here."
"And where is "here", exactly?"
"A place that represents second chances." - ―Spider-Man and J. Jonah Jameson[src]
As part of their plan to cure the universe-displaced villains, Peter-One, Peter-Two, and Peter-Three decided to lure them to the Statue of Liberty, which, since the Blip, had been repainted a bronze color and was being fitted with a giant replica of Captain America's shield. Peter-One contacted J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle to broadcast a message to the villains, calling the Statue of Liberty "a place that represents second chances" which is what he had been trying to give the villains. Jameson was alarmed that Spider-Man was seemingly about to destroy another national landmark and Peter-One asked the world to wish him luck because he could really use some. As he and the other two Peters waited, Peter-Two webbed up the various cures that he and the other two Peters had created to various places around the scaffolding holding the shield.
Eventually, Max Dillon, Flint Marko, and Curt Connors attacked, fighting the three Spider-Men around the Statue of Liberty. Peter-Two lured Flint inside of the Statue and, with the help of Peter-One and Peter-Three, managed to transform him back into his human form using a Particle Accelerator created by Peter-One for the supercollider that transformed Flint into the Sandman. Peter-Two urged Flint to stay put for his own safety until they could get him home. Otto Octavius, having been given a new inhibitor chip by Peter-One earlier, showed up and drained Dillon of his powers of electricity manipulation using an Electricity Siphon created by Peter-One for the accident with Bioelectric Eels that transformed Dillon into Electro while Peter-One transformed Connors back into his human form using an antidote created by Peter-Three for the Lizard Serum that transformed Connors into the Lizard after the latter chased Ned and MJ around the science lab of Midtown School of Science and Technology after Ned was unable to close the portal linking the two locations.
After the villains were cured, Peter-Three and Dillon were reunited as were Peter-Two and Otto. However, an argument with Doctor Strange, who was freed from the Mirror Dimension by Ned, was interrupted by an attack by the Green Goblin destroying the relic containing the corrupted spell using a Pumpkin Bomb and causing the giant shield to fall, destroying the scaffolding. Peter-Three and the Cloak of Levitation saved MJ and Ned from falling to their deaths and Otto and Peter-Two carried Dillon and Connors to safety.
With the multiverse cracking open around them, Strange ascended to the top of the Statue of Liberty's torch where he tried in vain to close the cracks. After restoring Norman back to his normal self using an anti-serum created by Peter-Two for the Goblin Formula that transformed Norman into the Green Goblin, Peter-One joined Strange and, with no other choice, had him cast a spell to make everyone forget the existence of their Peter, sending the villains and their own Peters back to their own universes.
A few weeks later, Jameson complained that even after the "fiasco" at the Statue of Liberty, people continued to contend that Spider-Man was a hero.
