Steven "Steve" Rogers was a soldier in WWII who took the Super Soldier Serum which enhanced his physical abilities beyond that of a peak human being. He became Captain America but got frozen in ice for 70 years until he was found by S.H.I.E.L.D..
Steve was a founding member of the Avengers and shared the history of his Sacred Timeline counterpart up until 2012 when he encountered Captain America from 2023 stealing the Chitauri Scepter.
Steve's timeline was subsequently reset by the Time Variance Authority and Steve was pruned. Like most everything else, after being pruned, he was most likely consumed by Alioth in the Void at the End of Time.

Avengers: Endgame[]
After the Avengers had defeated Loki in the Battle of New York, Captain America went to coordinate a search and rescue team.
After learning that Loki had used the Tesseract to escape, Steve went to the 14th floor of Stark Tower and encountered his 2023 self, who had just stolen the case containing the Chitauri Scepter. Steve, believing his 2023 self to be Loki in disguise, engaged him in a fistfight. When Steve discovered his 2023 self's compass, he asked where he got it. 2023 Steve tried to grab the Scepter, but Steve got him in a headlock. 2023 Steve told him that Bucky Barnes was still alive, distracting Steve long enough for 2023 Steve to use the Scepter to render him unconscious.
