T'Challa, also known as Black Panther, is the son of T'Chaka and the king of Wakanda, a small, xenophobic African nation.

T'Challa was the son of T'Chaka and grandson of Azari the Wise. Vowing to avenge the death of his father by the hands of Herr Kleiser. T'Challa formed a reluctant alliance with the Avengers.

- Power of the Panther: The nature of the "Power of the Panther" is largely unknown, but Black Panther at least possesses several superhuman physical and supernatural attributes.
- Superhuman Strength: Black Panther is much stronger than normal humans and most other superhumans.
- Accelerated Healing Factor: Black Panther can heal much faster, more extensively, and efficiently than normal humans and most other superhumans.
- Empathy: Black Panther can command animals.
- Transformation: Black Panther can transform into a ferocious, panther-like beast.

- Expert Marksman: Black Panther's gauntlets are made from vibranium; as he is able to shoot the razor-sharp fingertips like bullets.
