Robert Bruce Banner is a renowned scientist who specialises in the field of gamma radiation.
Bruce is able to transform into the Hulk; whenever he is stressed, enraged or seriously injured; due to the fact that he was exposed to gamma radiation that genetically modified his DNA. He was a part of the Avengers and helped out the Young Avengers when Ultron returned.

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow[]
The Young Avengers with the help of Betty Ross go to find Banner and ask for his help. At first, Henry thinks he can beat Banner up. But then Betty comfort Bruce and calm him down. Later, Bruce explains what happens when he is enraged or stressed, he transforms into the Hulk and kill everyone the enrages him. During the battle, Henry gets disparate and try to angry him. Then, the robot wasps attack Bruce and transforms into the Hulk. After Bruce turns into the Hulk. The Hulk easily destroyed the Wasp, Giant Ant-Man and Black Widow robots. Then, Ultron arrives and through a series of hits, Ultron subdues the Hulk. Henry then says Ultron called him a big wimp, that he was ugly and that he was stronger. This really angers the Hulk and smashes Ultron and yells,"HULK IS STRONGEST THERE IS!". He then run at the Gang is about to squish Henry when Betty calls him and tells him to go. Hulk then says not to sting him again and leaves.

Hulk is constantly enraged and draws his strength from this rage. The angrier Hulk is the more powerful he becomes. This aspect of his physiology grants him virtually limitless strength. If Hulk calms down to a certain point, he will revert back to the form of Bruce Banner.
