Theresa Cassidy, also known as Siryn, is a mutant who can generate and manipulate sound waves from her vocal chords.
Theresa is also a student of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Theresa was a student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. During William Stryker's attack on the mansion, her scream alerted the rest of the school that they were under attack. She was captured, but was rescued by Colossus.

Theresa was one of the students at Xavier's funeral.

- Sonokgenesis: Siryn can generate, create and project sound waves from her vocal chords.
- Sonokinesis: Siryn can can manipulate sound waves.
- Sonic Scream: Siryn can project a destructive scream from her vocal chords. Siryn's sonic scream was powerful enough to incapacitate William Stryker's strike force long enough to alerted the rest of the school that they were under attack.
