Avengers: Endgame

Three weeks after the Decimation, the surviving Avengers tried to reclaim the Infinity Stones to reverse what he had done. However, Thanos had used the power of the Stones themselves to destroy them all.

Five years later, the Avengers traveled back in time using the Quantum Realm to retrieve the Stones from the past to bring everyone back in their present. During the Battle of New York in 2012, Bruce Banner visited the Sanctum Sanctorum in search of Stephen Strange and the Time Stone. Instead, he found the Ancient One who refused to give Banner the Stone as removing the Stones from her timeline would potentially doom all of that reality. After Banner revealed that Strange gave the Time Stone to Thanos willingly, the Ancient One handed it over, believing that Strange must have had a reason to do so.

Using all of the recovered Infinity Stones, Banner was able to restore everyone who had been disintegrated by Thanos. During the final battle with a Thanos from 2014, Thanos got the Stones and attempted to use them to destroy all life in the universe and then remake it. However, Tony Stark stole them back and used them to destroy Thanos and his army at the cost of his own life.

After Thanos' defeat, the Time Stone was returned to 2012 by Steve Rogers who kept Banner's promise to the Ancient One to return the Stones to their original times.
