Universal Pictures, also known as Universal Studios, is the film production and distribution company owned that is by Comcast that formerly owned the rights to Howard the Duck, Hulk, Iron Man and other related characters.
The rights to Iron Man were bought from Marvel Entertainment in 1990 and sold to 20th Century Fox in 1996. The rights to Fantastic Four were bought from Marvel Entertainment in 1995 and sold it to 20th Century Fox in 2002. The rights to Hulk reverted to Marvel Studios in 2006.
