Happy New Year all! And 2014 looks set to be a great one for Marvel CBMS. Here's what we can expect to see this year:
First up is Marvel Studios' Captain America: The Winter Soldier released April 4th featuring the return of the first Avenger himself Captain America! The film stars Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce.
Second is Sony Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man 2 released May 2nd and continuing on from 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man. The film sees Andrew Garfield reprise his role as the ol' webhead Spider-Man as he battle Jamie Foxx's Electro, Paul Giamatti's Rhino and Dane Dehaan's Green Goblin.
Next up is Fox's X-Men: Days of Future Past released May 23rd featuring a huge ensemble combining the cast of the original X-Men trilogy and X-Men: First Class.
Marvel Studios' second film of the year is Guardians of the Galaxy directed by James Gunn coming August 1st. This film stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot making up the film's titular team.
And last but not least, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Big Hero 6 set to be released November 21st.
