- While it is not explicitly mentioned in the movie that Waigong and Waipo are the parents of Mrs. Chen (as opposed to Mr. Chen), in Mandarin the paternal grandparents would be referred to as Yeye and Nainai, so we know they are Mrs. Chen's parents.
